皆さま、“Time has wings”とは本当に良く言い当てた英語のことわざ、又「歳月人を待たず」「光陰矢の如し」も素晴らしい諺ですね。今日からもう3月です。今年の冬は雪を見ることもなく、ロンドンは比較的過ごしやすかったように、しかし嵐が何度もやってきて未だに被害者の方々は不便な生活を強いられていらっしゃるとお聞きします。
公園の樹木も倒れ、O2の屋根が飛んだりとかなりの被害が出ていますが、これも地球温暖化の影響でしょうか。私は歩きと自転車で移動をするように心がけています。皆さまは温暖化対策に、どのようなことをされていらっしゃいますでしょうか。これから、花冷えもありまだ気は許せませんね。コロナも一応静かになりましたが、発酵食品・和食を日々食べて免疫力をつけましょう。
ところでやはり、ウクライナを語らない訳にはいきませんが、4月の歳時記までにはプーチンさんが何とかチチンプープイとおまじないをかけて皆を幸せに導いていってくれることを願うばかりです。そうすれば彼もきっと晩年を悪いキツネのプーチン(顔が狐に似ていませんか？)ではなく、ヒーローとしてクレムリンに素晴らしい銅像が残ること間違いなしなのにです。。。しかし情勢は何とも悪化しているような様相で、それとも裏で色々と操作されているのか私達の知らない何かがあるのか不気味な感じがし、この21世紀にどうしてこのようなことがおこるのか、脳みそをいくら絞って考えても理解できません。
去年10月に弊社のDataのMigrationをウクライナ人のプロジェクトマネージャーさんがキエフから全てをしていただきました。とても優秀な方で、日本びいきと聞いていました。彼とFBでつながった先週は元気でしたが、今週は会社も辞められ安否がわからず、ただ無事を祈っています。
実は、現代のノストラダムスは「Simpson」のホマーだったと皆さまご存知でしょうか。実際にロシアがキエフを進撃しているのでこのようなお話をすることは悲しいのですが、1998年にはホマーシンプソンがこのことを予言しているのです。また他にもいくつがシンプソンの中で予言されたことが実際に起こったというのですから、先見と言いますか現代のノストラダムスと言っても過言ではないかもしれないです。(こちらがそのリンクです）
ここらでお話を歳時にもどし、3月と言えばひな祭りですね。その起源は300年ごろの古代中国で起こった春の訪れを喜び、無病息災を願う厄払いの行事でした。のちに行事の日付が変わらないよう3月3日となり、もとは女の子のためのお祭りでもなく、中国では3月初めは季節の変わり目で、災いをもたらしやすいので、水辺で清める習慣があり、紙や草でつくった人形（ひとがた）で体をなでて無病息災を願っていました。その人形を川や海へ流す「流し雛」は、この名残だとも言われています。
今年は例年に比べて花々の開花がいつもより数週間遅れているように思いますがいかがでしょうか。それでも鳥たちが囀り、球根が芽ばえ、花が咲いてきています。うっすらとしろい桜も咲き始めて春がそこに来ていますね。そして、「Hanami」という言葉が英国でも広がってきていますが、今年はパンデミックも落ち着いて皆が公園で楽しむ姿はもっとNormになり心の底から春到来を讃えたいものですね～。
